Born in Rio and shaped by a life across five countries, Mauricio is a seasoned international lawyer with a Master's from the University of London and over 20 years of experience in cross-border IP.

A longtime wellness advocate, he's spent his career balancing high performance with healthy living — often skipping social events to stay sharp the next day.

Hangov offered a chance to rewrite that trade-off. What began as a trademark consultation with his longtime friend Renata quickly evolved into a shared mission: empowering social drinkers to enjoy life without compromise.

Why react when you can prepare?

We started by looking at what happens in the body when we drink — what alcohol can deplete, the processes it affects, and why we feel the way we do afterwards.

Instead of waiting until the next morning, we asked a different question: what if we prepared the body beforehand?

That question became Hangov — a two-phase, biotechnology-led pre-drink formula created around preparation, support and recovery.
